Islamia Degree College, Shahpur, Kanti, Muzaffarpur well established and declared Muslim Minority Institution in Bihar under B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur has been imparting education B.A. Arts and Commerce permanent affiliation.

The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions New Delhi in Case No. 2680 of 2010. Islamia Degree College Shahpur Muzaffarpur Bihar vs Secretary Human Resources Developemnt Department, Govt. of Bihar. Islamia Degree College Run by Millat Talimi Society has been declared as a Minority Educational Institution covered under Section 2(G) of the National Commission Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004.

Islamia Degree College Shahpur Muzaffarpur Run and managed by Millat Talimi Society Muzaffarpur of bearing Regd. No. 269/80-81.

This Trust is an organisation of the Muslim Community of Muzaffarpur in particular and of the entire provides of India.

It will set up a Baitul Maal (Charity Fund) from which poors, needy and sufferers will be benifited.

It will encourage inter-cast marriage among Muslims and work hard to establish a casteless Muslim Society and it will discourage Daury System.
